Can I be a runner!?

A few MONTHS ago I blogged about wanting to lose weight. I never really did it, and really, I gained even more. LAAAAAAME.

Last week I decided I was going to become a runner. Yep, just decided. I "ran" using my Wii fit for 10 minutes one day, and then decided to run the (small, but still!!) bridge by my house (for a total of about 1.2 miles) the next day...BIG DIFFERENCE!

Then, I downloaded a (free, holla!) app on my phone to track my "running stats" -- time, distance, pace, calories burned, route, etc... I ran 16 minutes straight my first day outside, and 17 minutes the next day which was tracked as 1.46 miles.

In the next 3o days I'd like to get up to running 30 minutes straight and signing up for my first 5K. I CAN do it. :) Anyone want in?
